Designed By Product Managers, For Product Managers

It is a common assumption that a management or technology degree is needed to become a successful product manager. In reality, great product managers have skills that reach far beyond business and technology.

Our curriculum was designed by product managers, for product managers. In this program, you will learn how to creatively solve problems, allowing you to stand apart as a manager who is able to find solutions to any issue. In addition to teaching technology, business, and leadership, we go a step further by incorporating design and a modern focus on AI.

An Award-Winning Degree as Great as the Sum of Its Parts

A Venn diagram with a large circle labeled 'Carnegie Mellon University.' Inside it are two overlapping circles: 'Tepper School of Business' and 'School of Computer Science.' Within the 'School of Computer Science' circle is a smaller circle labeled 'Human-Computer Interaction Institute.'

Imagine not being part of one great school, but two.

As an MS in Product Management student, you’ll be trained by multiple world-class institutions:

#1 Computer Science School
#1 Human-Computer Interaction Institute
#9 Tepper School of Business

Of course, all of the above share in Carnegie Mellon’s renowned reputation globally.
