In this course we look at the phenomenon of 'Big Data' as an emerging force in the global business environment. The course will offer a conceptual foundation for capturing, managing, and analyzing enormous amounts of data to make better business decisions (and to build completely new businesses), case studies of businesses that have made big data a core part of their strategy, and hands-on work with Big Data tools.
