The 2024 Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) Conference, an annual event that connects LGBTQ+ MBA students and professionals, proved to be a banner moment for the Tepper School of Business.

With two standout highlights, this year's conference showcased the vibrant strength of the Tepper School community.

Alumni Connections at the LA Meet & Greet

The Tepper School LA Alumni Meet & Greet drew a strong turnout, offering current students and alumni an invaluable opportunity to network and share experiences. The event fostered meaningful connections between generations of Tepper School MBA graduates, creating lasting bonds within the LGBTQ+ business community.

The warm atmosphere and lively discussions made it a resounding success.

Case Competition Triumph: Tepper School MBA Team Places 3rd

One of the most exciting moments of ROMBA 2024 came during the highly competitive Consulting Case Competition, where the Tepper School’s all-first-year MBA team placed an impressive third out of 19 teams.

The team – composed of Heidi Martinho-Johnson, Teyonna Jarman, Jordan Chrite, and Nate Edmondson – excelled despite having only five weeks of MBA experience. Their remarkable performance was a testament to their talent, teamwork, and the strength of the Tepper School’s MBA program.

Competing against seasoned peers from top programs, the Tepper School team’s ability to deliver standout results in such a short time is an extraordinary achievement and speaks to the caliber of students joining the program.

A Bright Future Ahead

With a successful alumni event and an inspiring case competition result, the Tepper School's presence at ROMBA 2024 highlights the school's commitment to fostering inclusive excellence.
