Congrats CMULead Graduates!

The CMULead program prepares our talented and dedicated staff to take on leadership roles that will ensure our university is in good hands well into the future. The program fosters professional development for current and potential leaders, creating avenues for interaction and learning with leaders from across campus to share best practices, transfer institutional knowledge, and encourage mentorship and partnership as core values.

For 2024, we had our largest cohort with 31 graduates representing 14 colleges and divisions — a testament to how well-regarded the program is across campus. CMULead graduates engaged with over 20 academic and administrative leaders and subject matter experts from across the university representing faculty, staff and student perspectives in a variety of learning activities. Over the course of the program, they devoted approximately 70 hours to their professional development.

The program concluded on November 4 with a graduation celebration featuring a keynote address from Provost Jim Garrett.
