Benefits for International Locations
Faculty and staff members at Carnegie Mellon's international locations have access to benefits comparable to those of domestic employees, including health and welfare, financial and other benefits.
- For expatriate employees at international locations: CMU's expatriate medical plan provides services required for those on international assignment, including repatriation, emergency travel and evacuation, records transfer, payment administration and translation services.
- For local employees serving in international locations: CMU's plans must comply with the host country employment laws, and benefits may differ based on location.
