Our health plans provide a number of services to help you maintain your health or manage chronic medical conditions.

  • Aetna Member Website
    Register for Aetna's secure member website. Find information on your benefits all in one place. You can find a doctor, estimate the cost of services, review claims information, view your ID card, and more.
  • Talk to a Nurse: 800-556-1555
    Call Aetna's nurse line to speak with a registered nurse. Nurses are available 24 hours a day and can provide information on topics such as medical procedures and treatment options, as well as tips on how to talk to your doctor and describe your symptoms better.
  • Discounts
    The Aetna Discount Program is provided to members at no extra cost. Log in to the Aetna member site to view a complete list of available discounts.
  • Aetna Concierge: Your personal assistant for health care
    Have questions about your benefits? Need solutions that fit your needs? While only your doctor can diagnose, prescribe or give medical advice, your Aetna concierge can provide information on a variety of health-related topics. To get started, just call the number on your Aetna member ID card or visit the Aetna member site.
  • Aetna Maternity Program: Giving you and your baby a healthy start
    Participate in this program to learn about what to expect before and after delivery, early labor symptoms, newborn care, breastfeeding and more. If you have certain risk factors, you’ll also get special support to help avoid an early delivery.
    • This program is part of your plan — there’s no extra cost to you. You’ll have access to the Maternity Support Center on the member website. On the site, you’ll get helpful tools and resources, information about pregnancy stages, personalized benefit details and more.
    • Our maternity program and support teams do not diagnose or treat members. We assist you in getting the care you need and our program is not a substitute for the medical treatment and/or instructions provided by your health care providers.
  • Mental Health Services
    Contact the Health Concierge team at 800-835-8742 to be directed to behavioral health services. Members can also access mental and emotional health support by using the Aetna member online portal to log in to the behavioral health member site with your Member ID or Social Security number.
  • Highmark Member Website
    Find providers, track and review your claims, compare and estimate costs with the Care Cost Estimator, and access health and wellness tools and resources. You can also access these resources on the go from your smartphone or tablet.
  • Blues on Call and myCare Navigator: 888-258-3428
    Blues on Call offers you toll-free, 24/7 access to care decision support and confidential health information through specially-trained health coaches. myCare Navigator is a health navigation and advocacy service that you can call to find providers, make appointments, understand your care cost and options, and get information to make smarter decisions.
  • Baby BluePrints®: 866-918-5267
    If you're expecting a baby, the Baby BluePrints Maternity Education and Support Program can help you understand and manage every stage of pregnancy and childbirth and help you make more informed care decisions. Enrolling in Baby BluePrints gives you access to information on pregnancy and childbirth, along with individualized support from a health coach who is available throughout your pregnancy and after giving birth.
  • Mental Health Services
    Contact the Member Service at 800-472-1506 (members in Western PA) or 800-810-2583 (members outside of Western PA) and request to speak with a behavioral health specialist for plan guidance and/or authorization of any mental health or substance abuse services. Members can also access programs and services through Amwell; create an account using your member ID for virtual or telephonic support.
  • Blue365® Discounts
    Find discounts to help you live healthier and save when you shop at some of your favorite vendors nationwide for health-related resources, including hearing, vision and complementary medicine. Plus, you can get in shape without stretching your budget with discounts on gym memberships, fitness classes and more.
  • BCBS Global Core
    The BCBS Global Core program [pdf] enables you to receive inpatient and outpatient hospital care and physician services when you’re traveling or living outside the United States. It includes medical assistance services and an expanded network of health care providers throughout the world.
  • Well360 Virtual Health
    See a provider from the comfort of home any time — even in the evenings and on weekends. Board-certified doctors can treat you for minor illnesses like the flu, colds, sinus infections and more, without having to wait for an appointment or drive to an office. In addition to minor medical needs, Well360 Virtual Health can connect you to the right resources to get you the mental health support you need. To get started:
    1. Go to the website on the back of your member ID card.
    2. Click on the Find Care or Get Care section of your account.
    3. Click on Well360 Virtual Health.
  • UPMC Member Website
    With UPMC’s secure MyHealth OnLine member website, you’ll have access to all the personalized information, materials, and resources you need for your UPMC Health Plan. Be sure to register and log in often.

  • UPMC Anywhere Care: Virtual care to fit your needs
    UPMC AnywhereCare is a convenient and easy way to get a medical evaluation from home or the office. You can get medical attention quickly and safely when you use UPMC AnywhereCare. Start a video visit from your smartphone, tablet or computer.
  • MyHealth Community
    Access this online tool to find health and wellness resources in your community, including valuable discounts.
  • MyHealth Matters
    UPMC’s MyHealth Matters blog provides a forum of discussion on healthy lifestyle information and programs. Bloggers are affiliated with either UPMC or UPMC Health Plan, and are highly trained in the fields of medicine, nutrition, physical activity, weight loss and motivational coaching.
  • Mental Health Services
    Contact UPMC Behavioral Health Services at 888-251-0083 for plan guidance and/or authorization of any mental health or substance abuse services. Members can also access programs and services through the Behavioral Health Management Program.
  • Assist America [pdf]
    Your membership in UPMC Health Plan entitles you to a unique global emergency services program called Assist America. This program protects you, your spouse, and eligible minor dependent children with resources like doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and other services while you are traveling 100 miles or more from your home for business or pleasure. Assist America arranges and pays for all of the assistance services it provides, without financial caps or usage limits.
