Fall 2024 Training Update
Learning Partners
The Learning Partners group brings together more than 100 individuals within the campus community who provide training and other learning opportunities. With collaboration in mind, the goals of the group are to support and promote one another's programs while advancing our professional acumen and awareness of training. Quarterly meetings provide Learning Partners the opportunity to connect and collaborate, to share what members are doing in their respective areas, to identify ways to support and promote one another's programs and services, and to engage in professional development activities that will help strengthen our respective programs. The next meeting is September 26. CMU staff who are interested in joining the group should contact the Learning and Development team.

Administration Professionals Program to be Offered in 2025
In 2022, the Office of Human Resources piloted a program for Administrative Professionals through our partnership with the Community College of Allegheny County. Each year, participants are surveyed about their experiences during and after the program. Based on consistently positive feedback, we are pleased to sponsor the fourth rotation on this program.
The next cohort will begin the 12-week program in January 2025. The Office of Human Resources will begin soliciting nominations in November via CMU=You. If you wish to self-nominate, please discuss with your supervisor to gain approval, and watch the website for updates.
