Staff Supervisor Training Program Continues to Thrive
Whether offered virtually or in person, the Staff Supervisory Awareness Program provides fundamental skills to supervisors across CMU. The program, which launched in 2020, needed to be adapted for virtual delivery by the HR Learning and Development team. Despite the challenges faced while launching a program during a pandemic, the program has flourished and proven to be resilient.
After offering 15 virtual rounds of the program, HR’s Learning and Development team recently began offering sessions in the in-person format in which it was initially envisioned. The response to the in-person sessions demonstrates an added level of engagement for participants, who are able to connect with a variety of support resources available at CMU.
The Office of Human Resources continues to host virtual sessions via Zoom for those who are unable to attend the training sessions in person. Regardless of the format, we hope you will consider registering for an upcoming Staff Supervisory Awareness session.
