Workday Update and Outage Sept. 18-20

Workday will be unavailable Friday, September 18 at 10:00 p.m. ET through 6:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 20 as a result of a planned Workday user interface update and the regularly scheduled bi-annual update.

As part of this release, you will notice the following changes:

Enhancements to Workday Homepage:
- A new Daily Brief feature will replace the Awaiting Your Actions, Recommended for You, and Timely Suggestions areas.
- Managers will see My Team in place of the former Team Highlights card.
Global Navigation Menu: The Global Navigation menu has been reorganized. Apps will now be available in the menu on the upper-left corner of the screen.
Personal Information Hub: The Personal Information Hub replaces the Personal Information Dashboard. The information is the same, but it has an updated layout that is more clearly organized.
New Student Hire Quick Action Button At the top of your Workday homepage, student transaction initiators will now access a new quick action button, "Student Hire" to initiate the student hire integration. This feature was previously available on the Hiring Worklet which has been retired.
