Start-ups often hear that they need to ‘do marketing’ but most don’t really know what that means, much less how to do it. But marketing is what drives sales and helps to create the sales pipeline. So without a full marketing strategy and knowing how to implement it, sales will suffer. This informal workshop will provide an overview of what marketing is (much more than just advertising) as well as provide the basic steps on how to get started.
The Inside-Out Commercialization Workshop is tailored mainly for faculty, postdocs and senior graduate students to help take their ideas from conception to commercialization.
