Bio

JJ Xu is the CEO and founder of TalkMeUp, an AI-powered SaaS platform transforming communication training for the workforce through personalized, scalable coaching solutions. With a background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) , as well as business administration, JJ bridges technical innovation with business acumen to deliver high-impact solutions in the real world. 

Before founding TalkMeUp, JJ amassed extensive experience in sales management, corporate consulting, and global expansion in the high tech sector, refining her expertise in B2B sales, corporate scaling, and organizational development. 

At Carnegie Mellon University, JJ serves as an EIR at Project Olympus in the School of Computer Science, EIR at Corporate Startup Lab (CSL) and as an adjunct professor at the Tepper School of Business. Through her roles, she mentors and supports CMU students and aspiring entrepreneurs, sharing industry insights in AI innovations, SaaS growth strategy, and sales management. 

In addition to her enthusiasm for technology and entrepreneurship, JJ is also passionate about philosophy, poetry, the arts, classical music, and GSDs.
