Bio

Kevin is an experienced entrepreneur, business owner and seasoned sales professional with over 34 years of experience in the medical device industry.  Kevin was the Founder/President of Grandview Medical Resources, Inc. a fast-growing specialty medical equipment distributor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Kevin's healthcare expertise is in:
- Navigating the nuances of selling new medical technology/devices into hospital markets, including how to sell to GPOs (Group Purchasing Organizations), RPCs (Regional Purchasing Coalitions), IDNs (Integrated Delivery Networks), and Value Analysis Committees. 
- Understanding how Hospitals make their buying decisions - who are the Key Decision Makers, Key Influencers and Decision Processors.  
- How to build and lead high-performing sales teams & distribution channels.
- How to leverage customer relationships to expand market share.
Kevin was doing business with 90% of the hospitals in his territory and secured a 10 year contract with UPMC during his tenure, before selling his company.
Kevin is also a professional sales trainer, keynote speaker and certified Predictive Index Analyst. He was a member of the industry’s premier trade association - IMDA (Independent Medical Distributors Association of North America), serving as the President from 2009 - 2011 and Executive Board Member from 2006 - 2011.
Kevin is now a Vistage Chair and professional Leadership Coach/Advisor to local CEOs, executives and entrepreneurs. He is also the host of the “Three Rivers Leadership” radio show on 101.5FM, interviewing high-performing business leaders to learn about their backgrounds, businesses and leadership styles.
