Bio

Liz has worked in Department of Defense (DoD) Research and Development (R&D)  since 2012, with a brief stint at a late stage biosciences start-up. She was CMU's first embedded representative from the National Security Innovation Network, where she connected students, faculty, and the local early stage venture community with the defense innovation ecosystem.  Liz can help you determine product market fit for dual use technologies, understand DoD R&D collaboration and funding opportunities, as well as the basics of defense acquisition.
