GRANT PROGRAM TO SUPPORT STARTUPS DURING COVID-19

Differential Ventures, a seed-stage fund out of New York, is announcing a grant program to support early-stage start-ups in the fields of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning who are able to use their technology to aid in the global search for a resolution to COVID-19. Companies will be awarded grants in the amount of $10,000-$25,000 to support activities that apply or adapt their existing product to help manage the social impacts of the crisis and/or to help bring this crisis to an end. TEPPER SCHOOL OF BUSINESS TEAM SEEKS APPLICATION DEVELOPERS

Street Sense is simplifying the street parking experience by providing users with real-time information about the availability of parking spots near their destination. Using a combination of street sensors and an app, Street Sense automatically navigates you to the best spot near your destination.

Coronavirus: Seeking Android/iOS Developers

In this time of crisis, join a team urgently developing a mobile app to help turn the tide against the virus! Seeking Android/iOS developers for a week-long project that could potentially grow into a long-term opportunity. Through his social enterprise Expii, Carnegie Mellon Math professor Po-Shen Loh (also known for discovering a new way to solve quadratic equations, and for coaching the USA Math Olympiad team to 4 first-place victories) is implementing a novel app which uses math itself to save lives during this epidemic. The team has connections to major players who are leading national/international efforts to address the crisis, and has already attracted top-quality design and engineering talent. The team still seeks two dedicated native app developers.
