Interested in Gender/Queer Theory and Sexuality? Wanna make a TV show? Do it all in Trans-Q Television!
 
Trans-Q is a dynamic interdisciplinary experience. We’ll read queer theory and talk about it.  We’ll write, imagine, dream-up and produce the most amazing web-based video variety show series ever! Trans-Q Television will explore gender expression, sexuality, desire and ecstatic acts of being!

Programming for our show will include

Stand up theory, super short documentaries, video art, dance, animation, comedy, interviews, literary presentations, performance art, music and much more. It will be a Dadaist Variety Show for the 21st Century. A truly warped Lawrence Welk meets Andy Warhol's TV meets Ernie Kovacs meets Sonny and Cher meets Flip Wilson meets Carol Burnett meets Wigstock meets YouTube. Local and national visiting artists and scholars will participate in the development and production of Trans-Q Television.

Prerequisites

An open-mind, enthusiasm and an interest in the infinite ways that gender and sexuality can be expressed and experienced.
