Ten Students Inducted Into National History Honor Society

Ten students with majors or minors in Carnegie Mellon University’s Department of History were inducted in Phi Alpha Theta this spring. The national history honor society was established in 1921 to promote quality research and learning experiences.
Phi Alpa Theta has over 400,000 members, with about 9,000 new members joining each year. There are 970 chapters nationwide. CMU’s chapter, Upsilon-Kappa, was established in 1973.
