Bio

Beth serves as the History Advisor and Humanities Coordinator, where she provides academic advising for students pursuing History majors & minors. She also implements initiatives that support a robust community of humanities students, faculty, and staff, and promote the humanities across campus. 
 
Prior to joining the History team, Beth was a career consultant for Dietrich College students at CMU's Career & Professional Development Center. Before working in higher education at CMU and Tufts University, she spent her career in the nonprofit sector. Beth received her master's degree in Food Studies from Chatham University, where her studies focused on food justice education. She received her bachelor's degree in Sociology from Boston University and as an undergraduate she studied & interned abroad in Dublin, Ireland.
