Osher Office Moves to Wean Hall

The Osher Office staff are moving from Hunt Library to the 4600 corridor of Wean Hall next week! The university requested this change so the CMU IDeATe program (located in the basement of Hunt) can move their people closer to their program. The benefit to us is that we can now be closer to the Osher members and classrooms.

For the last week, we have been busy packing up. Our computers will be dismantled over the weekend and moved to Wean Hall on Monday the 10th. On Tuesday the movers will move all of our boxes, chairs, files, etc., etc., etc.. By Thursday morning, we hope to have our phone service back and our computers turned back on. This is taking a couple of days because our computer support is transitioning from the library IT support staff to the CMU media tech support staff and we are getting a new phone system.

The Osher Office should be back to normal by Monday, June 17th, 2019. Even though we would like visitors, please wait until we are up and running to come see the location of our new office.

This move is temporary. Once our new space is built, the office will move again, but next time we’ll take you with us to Cyert Hall!
