Osher Staff Changes

By Lyn Decker, Executive Director

Goodbye Wyatt!

It is with great regret that I am announcing that today, December 8, is Wyatt’s last day with us at Osher.  Wyatt and his partner Mike will be moving to the Bay Area next week. Wyatt claims he will truly miss working at Osher at CMU and will especially miss his colleagues.  The staff and I will surely miss him more.  Wyatt Walter-Dawahare has been the Technical Support Specialist at the Osher at CMU since March 2017. While at here, Wyatt was responsible for helping manage the technical support activities of the organization. His daily tasks included supporting the office staff, developing training materials for members, and maintaining the Osher website you’re reading this on! He also taught the popular iPhone Basics class during this past fall term. During his tenure with us, he has patiently supported us all in becoming just a little bit more technically savvy.  I hope you’ll join the staff in wishing Wyatt luck and happiness in the next stage of his career.

Welcome back, Olivia!

Olivia McCann has recently rejoined the Osher at CMU office as our Office Assistant temp.  She previously worked as our intern during the winter of 2013 and again during the summer of 2013.  After graduating from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Olivia worked at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Universal Studios Orlando.  Olivia recently returned to Pittsburgh, her hometown, and is now able to help the Osher office. She is thrilled to be back once again working for us!  I’m excited to have her back on staff because she knows us and is a tested employee. Please, if you’re ever near the office, I encourage you to stop by to meet Olivia.
