Flight 93 National Memorial

February 21, 2020

CANCELLED: America's Heroes: A trip to the Flight 93 National Memorial and Quecreek Mine

Somerset County, Pennsylvania,  has been called “America’s County” because of two life changing events in 2001 and 2002. With a local step-on-guide we will visit the Flight 93 National Memorial including the Memorial Plaza, Memorial Chapel,  The Wall of Names, The Visitor Center, and The Tower of Voices.  We will then take a break for a delicious smorgasbord lunch. Our last stop of the day will be at the site of the Quecreek Mine disaster where nine miners were miraculously rescued from 240 feet beneath the earth.

Early booking is important, as space is limited.

This tour includes walking on uneven surfaces and visits to some facilities, which are NOT handicapped accessible.

Fee: $93 per person for members and non-members. A release form will be provided in advance for non-members.

Fee includes motor coach transportation, all entrances, tours, lunch, and gratuities. Please feel free to bring any additional snacks and water, as these will not be provided.

Reservation with FULL payment is due by Monday, March 23rd. The last day to withdraw to receive a full refund (less $10 processing fee) is Friday, March 27th. After that date, there will be no refunds.
