Computer Lab Improvements and a New Classroom Space

Several computer labs and the CFA Sound Room were upgraded over the summer, providing students access to the latest tools and technology.

The enhancements include new computers, updated operating systems, larger monitors, and improved peripherals to support various academic disciplines, from graphic design to data analysis. Specialized labs, such as the CFA Sound Room, have received advanced audio control mixers, MIDI keyboards, and high-quality microphones and speakers to facilitate audio production..

Along with the updated labs, Gates Hillman Center rooms 4307 and 4401, as well as the newly upgraded Registrar classroom in Tepper 2400, now feature resident Zoom technology. These spaces enable you to start a Zoom meeting right from the touch panel.
