Desktop Management Tools
Delegated access to the same tools Computing Services’ uses to run our managed desktop services. These include: Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for Windows computers and Jamf Pro for macOS computers.
- Environment preparation for the department, including group creation for authorized administrators and departmental computers collections.
- Consulting, training and best practices on using the SCCM and Jamf Pro tools to effectively support local implementation. Administrators who are new to the tools will require external training before using the service.
- Reduce cost, risk and time associated with supporting your department desktops.
- Simplified device deployment, inventory and security across all of your department desktops (Windows and macOS).
Departmental IT administrators who already have expertise in using the requested desktop management tools (SCCM, Jamf Pro or both).
No charge to use the tool. Those who use the service are responsible for paying license fees for tools not included in our license.
