323 - Multimedia Studio

  • Computers: 11 + 1 instructor
  • Additional Features: Mac OS, video station, MIDI keyboard, editing station, headphones, button pad controls

    Note:
     Your CMU ID card is required for access.

CFA 323 is equipped with button pad controls. Follow the steps below to connect and present.

Wired Connection

  1. Connect the HDMI cable to your device.
  2. Tap the Computer 1 icon on the button pad.

    Note: to display the Lab machine, tap the Computer 2 icon on the button pad.

Wireless Connection

  1. Tap the Wireless Presentation icon on the button pad. 
  2. Follow the on-screen steps to connect your device.
  3. Disconnect via the wireless presentation app or tap the Power button on the button pad.

Button Pad

  1. Tap the button pad to wake it.
  2. Tap the Power button to turn on/off.
  3. Select your connection: Computer 1, Computer 2 (Lab machine), or Wireless Presentation.
  4. Adjust the volume along the bottom of the button pad.  
  5. Ensure you turn the pad off when you are done.
