When Should I Upgrade to macOS Golden Gate?

Apple will soon release its latest operating system, macOS Golden Gate. Computing Services is currently testing the university’s core software and services to determine if they are compatible.

We do not recommend upgrading to Golden Gate until we complete testing. If you upgrade before we verify that the OS is compatible with CMU’s core software and services, you may be unable to run some of your preferred applications.
