Register Department Devices to CMU-DEVICE
Department-owned devices can be registered and managed by a group on the CMU-DEVICE wireless network. Department registration is available for both individual device registrations AND bulk device registrations.
Complete the steps below to register a department device:
- Go to the Device Registration tool.
- Log in with your Andrew userID and password.
- Click the Wireless option.
- Enter a hostname and the MAC address of the device.
- Click Register this device for a group or department and then select your group.
- Click Submit.
Note: Department Adminstrators can use Grouper to manage members and privileges for their groups.
