When Should I Upgrade to macOS Sequoia?
On September 16, 2024, Apple released its latest operating system, macOS Sequoia. Computing Services is currently testing the university’s core software and services to determine if they are compatible.
We do not recommend upgrading to Sequoia until we complete testing. If you upgrade before we verify that Sequoia is compatible with CMU’s core software and services, you may be unable to run some of your preferred applications.
