Dietrich College 2020 Year in Review

Thank you for exploring our 2020 Year in Review, a publication that summarizes and highlights a year unlike any other in recent memory. In the pages that follow, you’ll learn more about the perseverance and creativity of our community — a community of which I am very proud. As individuals and as a group, we navigated many challenges in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as historic social and political unrest. 

Here, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the creation of our college’s first Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Plan and progress toward our goals. You’ll see the ways in which our students, faculty and staff adapted to a hybrid model of education and campus life during the pandemic. You’ll also read about research and creative projects developed by our faculty and students. This work is significant not only academically, but also for its rapid and direct impact on humanity — a feature that sets Dietrich apart from many traditional liberal arts institutions.
