Information for Host Sites

Partnering businesses and organizations play an essential role in the success of the program and in the strengthening of the Pittsburgh community. These host sites commit to provide students with meaningful work and purposeful mentorship throughout the experience.

Participating organizations host a maximum of two interns who complete 175-200 hours of work and receive a $3,000 stipend, provided by the Dietrich College Pittsburgh Summer Internship Program Fund.  

All participating organizations pay a program fee per selected intern, based on annual revenue.

  • Revenue less than $500,000: $250 per intern
  • Revenue between $500,000 and $1,000,000: $500 per intern
  • Revenue greater than $1,000,000: $750 per intern
