Andreea Ritivoi Receives NEH Stipend

Andreea Ritivoi, an associate professor in the English department, has received a National Endowment for the Humanities summer stipend to work on her book, "Prophets in Another Land: The Stranger Ethos in American Political Discourse". The book examines the rhetorical strategies used by famous foreign intellectuals who immigrated to the United States after World War II and played a crucial role in shaping American postwar politics.
