Our Undergraduates
The Department of English is home to over 150 undergraduate student majors and minors. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of CMU, students have the opportunity to explore a variety of academic interests, pairing unique major and minor programs together. A substantial number of English students have combination majors such as Creative Writing and Computer Science, Technical Writing & Communication and Biomedical Engineering, and Film & Visual Media and Architecture.
