Undergraduate Spotlight: Natalie Hon

Natalie Hon is a senior (Class of '22) with a primary major in Professional Writing and additional majors in Literature & Culture and Decision Science.

Have you had an internship related to your major in English?

Yes! I was an editorial intern for Prague Visitor and Prague Resident Magazine. I loved being able to learn and write about Czech culture.

What advice do you have for students who want to major in English?

Take the classes you want to learn more about and don’t be afraid to challenge yourself with things outside of your comfort zone.

What is your favorite English course and why?

Critical Theories about Literature (76-350) taught by Professor Jon Klancher. I love this class because I think the readings are engaging and thought provoking, and my classmates shared very insightful thoughts about each reading. Moreover, Professor Klancher is extremely well-read and teaches well-constructed lessons.
