Bio
My research interests include early modern drama and history, gender and sexuality studies, classical reception, book history, and digital humanities. I have written two theses on portrayals of ancient queens in early modern drama, particularly looking at the respective models of race and sexuality produced on the early modern English stage. More broadly, I am interested in taking a transhistorical approach to examining premodern figures, as well as the constructions of race, gender, and sexuality that surround them.
