Bio
I graduated with a B.A. in Spanish from St. Bonaventure University and was inducted as a member of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society. I studied abroad at Colegio de España in Salamanca, Spain. My language pairing is Spanish to English, with knowledge of French and Arabic.
I have experience as a Project Manager and oversaw about 30 projects. I've translated various legal, literary, journalism, advertising, and public service texts. I've also worked with transcribing and subtitling several projects. In addition to translation work, I have experience with curriculum design. I recently helped redesign the Spanish for Beginners Level A1 course offered through the Online Learning Initiative at CMU.
My interests include linguistics/applied linguistics, translation studies, language acquisition, and curriculum design.
