The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University has published our 2024-25 Dean’s Report, celebrating a year of accomplishments and charting the course for the future of business education.
This past year, we celebrated some major milestones and pushed forward with new initiatives, all while staying true to our vision of blending data with human insight. We marked our 75th anniversary with a special Academic Symposium that included a keynote by Nobel Laureate Dr. Thomas J. Sargent, and celebrated the 20th anniversary of our school’s naming. It was an exciting time to reflect on our school’s history and everything students, faculty, and staff have accomplished.
We also put a significant focus on preparing our students for The Intelligent Future℠. Through Collaborative AI, we're weaving artificial intelligence into our curriculum, offering new courses and a specific concentration in AI in Business for MBA students. Our Center for Intelligent Business is also promoting innovation with seed funding for 11 faculty research proposals on generative AI.
It was a year of impressive growth for our degree programs. We graduated our first class of our Master of Science in Management program. The undergraduate business program welcomed the largest incoming class in its history, and our Qatar campus will offer a new global consulting course.
