Applying Canvas Features To Support Group Projects And Collaboration
A main reason for creating groups in Canvas course is to set up group assignments.
When groups are created, each group automatically gets a ‘workspace’ which can
support collaboration among students in a group in the Canvas environment.
In this TEL Demo, examples of how group collaboration can be facilitated using features
available in the group workspace will be shared. Highlights include:
- How students can create and revise content pages which can then be submitted for assignments
- How students can use the group files area to share a variety of materials while working on a project
