Avi earned a Masters of Arts degree from New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development in Digital Media Design for Learning. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Thapar University, India. He joined the Eberly Center in 2021 and previously worked at the University of Michigan as a Learning Designer.

Avi currently works to support the CMU community by working with instructors and the team at Eberly to design courses for online programs utilizing learning science principles. His main focus of work is on developing learning experiences which align learning goals, assessments and instruction using evidence based design principles and data analysis.
