Henderson House is part of Carnegie Mellon University's Themed Living program, which provides students with the opportunity to live in a community based on a common theme or interest, surrounded by other residents who share the same passion.

CMU students who choose Henderson House are committed to practicing wellness in their lives, which includes:

  • substance-free living
  • physical fitness
  • mental and spiritual health
  • school/work/social life balance
  • good nutrition

Located on the part of campus known as “The Hill,” Henderson is gender inclusive by room and offers prime single and double suite-style rooms. Amenities include a fitness room, laundry facilities, air conditioning, a kitchen, TV and study lounges, and a recreation room with a pool table. Additionally, as part of Henderson’s commitment to wellness, free passes are provided to all residents for fitness classes at the Cohon University Center.
