Tepper School Maintains Top 20 Ranking for U.S. News & World Report’s Best Graduate Schools of Business

The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University continues to solidify its place among the nation’s best MBA programs, earning a top 20 spot in the U.S. News & World Report’s latest Best Graduate Schools of Business rankings. The program was ranked No. 16 this year, up from No. 18 in 2025.
For specialty rankings, the Tepper School placed No. 1 in Information Systems, No. 2 in Business Analytics, No. 5 in Supply Chain/Logistics, and No. 10 in Entrepreneurship, the school’s best-ever result in that category. Finance also saw strong momentum, rising eight spots to No. 15.
“Bolstering our position in the top 20 Graduate Business Schools in the U.S. News & World Report rankings reflects our ongoing dedication to delivering a rigorous, forward-looking business education,” said Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou, Dean and Richard P. Simmons Professor of Finance. “Our strong performance across specialty rankings highlights the impact of our interdisciplinary approach, and we are excited to continue advancing this momentum as we prepare the next generation of business leaders.”
Earlier this year, the Tepper School’s Business Analytics program ranked No. 1 in U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of Non-MBA Online Business programs, and No. 2 in the 2026 Online MBA ranking.
U.S. News & World Report evaluated online business programs based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies offered to students.
