Jen Cadman Elected President of Carnegie Mellon Women’s Association
The Tepper School is proud to share that Jen Cadman, Director of Strategic Partnerships, has been elected as the next president of the Carnegie Mellon Women’s Association (CMWA).
The Carnegie Mellon Women’s Association plays a vital role in fostering community and connection among women and allies at the university. Its mission is to bring together colleagues from across the Carnegie Mellon campus through networking, social gatherings, and educational programming. With a long-standing tradition of supporting student success, the Association awards scholarships annually to one graduating senior from each college.
“I am honored to serve as president of the Carnegie Mellon Women’s Association and build on the important work of those who came before me,” Cadman shared. “CMWA offers a unique space to connect, celebrate, and support colleagues across the university community. I look forward to fostering new opportunities for collaboration and continuing to advance our mission.”
As president, Cadman will lead the CMWA Board in developing programming that enriches the campus experience of members. From book clubs to discussion groups to service initiatives, the organization offers opportunities for meaningful engagement across the university. Cadman previously served as Vice President of Programming, and succeeds Rebecca Abrams, Senior Director of Development for the College of Fine Arts.
Membership in the CMWA is open to all faculty, staff, administrators, trustees, and their spouses, partners, and friends who support the advancement of women at Carnegie Mellon.
Congratulations to Jen Cadman on this well-deserved leadership role and her continued commitment to the Carnegie Mellon community!
