The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University is proud to serve as the U.S. academic partner in the University of South Australia's Global Executive Master of Business Administration (GEMBA) in Defense and Space. This 18-month program is designed to develop senior leaders equipped to navigate the complex and rapidly evolving global defense and space sectors.

A unique collaboration with international defense and space experts, the program is delivered across three countries: Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, through a blend of immersive in-person residentials and high-quality online learning.

As the U.S. host, the Tepper School brings its renowned expertise in analytics, innovation, and leadership to the program. Participants benefit from direct engagement with faculty, access to cutting-edge research, and an inside look at the U.S. defense and space ecosystem.

The GEMBA curriculum emphasizes executive leadership and senior-level decision-making, grounded in the latest defense and space management research.

This program is designed for public and civil servants, defense industry professionals, and senior defense officers, who are keen to advance their industry skills and sector leadership capabilities.  The in-country experience is immersive, providing access to industry experts and resting invaluable networking opportunities with industry peers. In addition to online learning and a strategic industry project.

Graduates of the program will be well-placed to excel as industry leaders at senior management level, with a comprehensive body of knowledge of defense and space sector developments, challenges, and solutions.
