BXA Intercollege Degree Programs Audition & Portfolio Review Requirements
Three are three BXA Intercollege Degree Programs:
- Bachelor of Humanities and Arts (BHA)
- Bachelor of Science and Arts (BSA)
- Bachelor of Computer Science and Arts (BCSA)
Students interested in applying to the College of Fine Arts in music may select from the following options in the School of Music:
Music Performance (instrumental, piano, voice)
An audition is required for admission to the music performance option. Follow the audition/portfolio guidelines for your area.

Musicology
NOTE: Musicology is a concentration only in the BHA or BSA programs. It is NOT available to BCSA candidates.
A live virtual interview is not required but you may be contacted by faculty with additional questions.
Submit the music application and Common Aplication by December 1st. For your portfolio, please submit at least one writing sample by January 4. The writing sample should be at least five pages, preferably a research paper with bibliography. The topic need not be related to music.
