Our application is anticipated to open by September 1. We are waiting for the university to update policies surrounding visitors and events before we can finalize what the Fall 2022 application process will look like, but are sharing our anticipated expectations. When available, it will be updated on this site and time-stamped.

Fall 2022 Information: We are anticipating a hybrid schedule for 2021-2022 auditions.

As of August 2, 2021, we expect the following schedule:

Portfolio Deadline (Composition, Electronic Music, Music Education, Musicology, Music & Technology): December 1
Anticipated LiveFebruary 5-6 - orchestral instruments
Anticipated LiveFebruary 12-13 - non-orchestral areas
Live VirtualFebruary 19-20 - orchestral instruments on the 19th, non-orchestral areas on the 20th
Please note: we are not hosting regional auditions for the Fall 2022 application cycle. Recorded auditions will still be available with a preference for live virtual auditions if selecting an online audition platform.
Please note: The format of auditions is subject to change, based on university protocol. As of August 1, 2021, visitor restrictions have been somewhat lifted, but we are monitoring COVID-19 impacts closely. We will notify applicants by December 1 if there are any changes to audition platform. We are trying to host the safest auditions possible and will make any decisions with that in mind.
