The new year is off to a great start, and our faculty have been out and about sharing their expertise.
Laurie Weingart, Richard M. and Margaret S. Cyert Professor of Organizational Behavior and Theory, and Howard Teibel took the stage at the EACUBO Annual Conference to talk about non-promotable work and discussed how leaders can surface and delegate these tasks more fairly, ensuring every team member has the space to shine in work that actually advances their career.
Taya Cohen, Professor of Organizational Behavior and Business Ethics, gave a presentation for the Technology, Democracy, and Cognition group at the University of Bristol on January 29, 2026. The presentation, The Socialization of Honesty and Deception: A Longitudinal Study of Law Students, was funded in part by the Tepper Ethics Program Fund and the Pounds Fellowship.
Willem-Jan van Hoeve, Carnegie Bosch Professor of Operations Research, has been named the Area editor for "Artificial Intelligence & Optimization" at the INFORMS Journal on Computing.
