Tepper School MBA Leaps to Top 10
The Tepper School of Business Full-Time MBA program ranks No. 9 in the 2024-25 Bloomberg Businessweek Best B-Schools rankings.
Recognized as a trusted source for business news and higher education rankings, Bloomberg Businessweek sought to identify the best business schools offering Full-Time MBA programs. Out of the 77 Full-Time MBA programs examined, Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business ranked No. 9.
“Over the last several years, we have made tremendous strides at the Tepper School to shape our graduate students to serve as the leaders of the intelligent future,” said Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou, dean of the Tepper School. “We are pleased that Bloomberg Businessweek has recognized our Full-Time MBA program and efforts to fulfill the demands on the industry with such qualified talent.”
This year’s rankings showcase the growing success of the Tepper School’s Full-Time MBA program – improving from No. 25 in 2022-23, No. 18 in 2023-24 and now No. 9 in 2024-25. Since the 2022-23 rankings, the Tepper School has improved in each of the five categories that comprise the ranking:
- Compensation (No. 19 to No. 17)
- Learning (No. 46 to No. 5)
- Networking (No. 26 to No. 5)
- Diversity (No. 77 to No. 41)
- Entrepreneurship (No. 13 to No. 3).

The 9th place ranking is the Tepper School’s highest for Businessweek since 1990.
The Tepper Full-Time MBA program is a two-year, STEM-designated program comprising four mini semesters and one experience week each year. The program cultivates humility, creativity, and diversity through transformational tools of team-based learning and one-on-one leadership coaching while maintaining its balance of data analysis with emotional intelligence.
