After earning his bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Singh came to the U.S. to attend the Tepper School of Business, where he continues to demonstrate his commitment.
"In many ways for me [The Tepper School] was a crucible for the things I was going to experience later on in life, whether it was the international composition of the class, their lack of arrogance which taught me in life that you treat people the way you like to be treated, or that during good times you're not as good as you think you are and during tough times you're not as bad as you think you are."
Singh currently serves on the Carnegie Mellon University Board of Trustees, which he joined in 2007, as well as the Tepper School Business Board of Advisors. In addition, he continues to serve on several corporate and non-profit boards, including Pratham USA. For his exemplary achievements, he was honored with the 2016 Tepper School Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award.
Singh described his arrival at the Tepper School as the beginning of his “American journey.”
