CMU alumnus donating $10M to university's science college

CMU alumnus Glen de Vries is giving $10 million to endow a deanship in the university's Mellon College of Science, officials at CMU announced Tuesday. "We are deeply grateful to Glen for ensuring that Dean Doerge and those who follow her will have the critical resources they need to advance the Mellon College of Science," Interim President Farnam Jahanian said.
