With funding from CMU’s Program in Interdisciplinary Education Research (PIER) as well as from CMU's Department of Psychology and the Human-Computer Interaction Institute, Daniel Yonas (University of Virginia, Class of 2018) and Shanelle Rodriguez (Florida State University, Class of 2018) participated in the PIER-REU program in the Summer of 2017 in the laboratory of Professor Anna Fisher. They also participated in the CMU Go Research! program, which organizes the housing and social events, offers seminars on topics such as responsible conduct of research, planning for graduate school, the life of a graduate student, etc.  Special thanks to Professor Sharon Carver for organizing the social outing on Pittsburgh’s rivers and to Professor Erik Thiessen who lead the discussion on applying to graduate programs in psychology.
