Verstynen Demystifies Zombie Brains

As Halloween approaches, The Washington Post asked experts to address some theories about zombies based on what is known about human bodies and brains. Timothy Verstynen, an associate professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience Institute, offers an answer to “Why don’t zombies act like we do?” 

Verstynen is the co-author of “Do Zombies Dream of Undead Sheep?: A Neuroscientific View of the Zombie Brain” with Bradley Voytek.
