What does it mean to be a good neighbor?
Fred Rogers — arguably the world’s most famous neighbor — believed courtesy, kindness, acceptance and respect were the keys to coexisting happily. In fact, he filmed his beloved children’s series “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” just across the street in the WQED studios until 2000. His advice holds just as true today as it did back then. When we work together, we all live better.
Carnegie Mellon University awarded Fred Rogers an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts in 1976.
