Student Involvement & Traditions

At Carnegie Mellon University, work that matters doesn't happen exclusively in the classroom. CMU's Office of Student Involvement and Traditions is the place where meta-curricular, student-led initiatives come to life and shape our community.

From planning memory-making moments to supporting ideas and creativity, we show up for students to help them achieve their goals and initiatives beyond the classroom.

Here's why we would love to work with you ❤️

We bridge university policies, procedures and operations with student ideas and creativity to activate our community partnerships and to help actualize student goals.

We prioritize access to the benefits of our student organization communities for all and ensure that Carnegie Mellon’s parallel commitments to inclusivity and diversity of perspective are reflected in the experiences of individuals within those communities.
